Synchronised karaoke
The lyrics of the song, in time with the singing
The lyrics scroll along with the song. With a file produced by a forced-alignment tool, each word fills in from left to right between its start and its end; with an ordinary .lrc file, the current line lights up as a whole.
✨ What it gives you
- On the second screen when there is one: the library stays usable
- Full screen in the main window otherwise, with a button to hide it
- Two formats accepted: ordinary .lrc, or word-by-word .json
- The colours follow the theme you chose
- A marker in the track list shows which songs have lyrics
- A filter shows only the tracks that have karaoke
⚠️ Note: A song whose lyrics clearly do not match the recording is turned down: better to offer nothing than a karaoke that is wrong. Crossfade steps aside while karaoke is on screen, so a song is never cut short during its closing lines.
